Six Sentence Sunday

It’s another Six and I’m working on a short story that deals with last contact/end of the world times. 3500 words. A lot shorter than I’m used to doing for my shorts.

When joseph sat down and turned on the tv, there was a woman standing with a microphone.

“…and the self proclaimed prophet is standing and speaking of things as Elder gods coming to wipe out mankind.”

Jospeh put his hands over his son’s ears. “How about you go play with Sophie, okay? I don’t think there is anything interesting on tv.” He gave a weak smile.
